Jewish Names and References from the Galicia Region of Spain

The Collection of Jews from Galicia was given over to the Collection by Professor Jesus Jambrina, Director of Zamora Sefardi and Centro Isaac Campanton. The collection comes from various sources that are citing legal documents and others. Because most are Pre-Inquisition it is possible to follow some lineages of those that may have left with the expulsion in 1492.

Los nombres estan en varias fuentes haciendo referencia en muchos casos a documentos notariales y pleitos legales. Debido a que mucha de la Informacion es antes de la fecha de la Inquisicion, es possible seguir algunos linajes de familias que salieron con la expulsion en 1492.
